Exhibition by an international artist based in Aisne.
With works sculpted in glass and ceramics, this is the fruit of a two-year residency that will enable visitors to discover her reflections on the cycle of life and the place of the human being in this world.
"This exhibition is part of a vast movement to understand the place of the human being in time and in the chain of life. Through several sculptural installations in glass, ceramics and plant materials, I explore my roots, questioning the history of the Maladrerie Saint Lazare, so closely linked to the cycles of life and death, and to the transformation of the molecules of each body into part of the territory. Organized as a landscape to be traversed and surveyed, the exhibition lets buried souls rise up from the depths, questioning primordial molecules, from the first cyanobacteria that enabled oxygenic photosynthesis to today?s flowering plants."
